"We do not remember days, we remember moments.
The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten.”
- Cesare Pavese

Salvatierra residence during its construction days

This was our house then in Novaliches, Quezon City (still under construction). It was built on 1972. We settled on 1973.

Our family is so simple. We were raised this way.
Nanay and Tatay (mom & dad) were only retired government employees (both from Department of Health) and could not even afford a house and lot if it were not to their joint GSIS loans and support by Tito Igy and Tito Nemy (as told). No car of our own. And as most parents would like their children to be well in society, they rather see us serve God and community.

But I could not forget till to to this day how neighbors and relatives ask for tatay's and nanay's help/assistance to bring them or their love ones to Deparment of Health for treatment or for employment. Mostly these people don't even return to thank them but my parents don't take it personally because they without strings attached. They even uses their money if they can afford. Nonetheless, you won't believe how God blesses them and how people from every walks of life treated them with respect. They seldom get recognize nor appreciated but when I accompany them to the maket, I see more than money can buy. You won't believe how market vendors loves them, especially my dad. My dad is already 81 and my mom is 80. Many still approach them favor or work related task (e.g. insurance coverage or paper processing assistance). My dad still get out in the morning to work and return in the afternoon carrying food plastic pack from the market for his children and grandchildren to eat.
Our parents are far from being perfect and they have their shortcomings. But I guess their legacy to society and family are something to be proud of as their children. Glory to God!

This section is still under construction. Pls wait for my parent's Golden Wedding video presentation. To upload soon.
